Responding to Los Angeles’ cultural climate, LA><ART questions given contexts for the exhibition of contemporary art, architecture and design. With a renewed vision for the potential of independent art spaces, LA><ART provides a center for interdisciplinary discussion and interaction and for the production and exhibition of new exploratory work. ForYourArt

ForYourArt is an interdisciplinary producer and meta-curator, creating fresh initiatives to invite cultural patrons to participate in creative civic engagement through its hybrid model of projects, publishing and media platforms rooted in a belief in civic engagement and social entrepreneurship. Hammer Museum

The Hammer Museum explores the capacity of art to enhance the full range of human experience. Through its collections, exhibitions, and programs the Hammer illuminates the depth and diversity of artistic expression through the centuries, with a special emphasis on the art of our time. At the core of the Hammer’s mission is the recognition that artists play a crucial role in all aspects of culture and society. The initial phase of the Watts House Project is being completed as a part of the Hammer Museum’s Artist Residency Program. The Hammer Museum’s Artist Residency Program was initiated with funding from the Nimoy Foundation and is supported through a significant grant from the James Irvine Foundation.


Creative Capital

Creative Capital, a nonprofit organization, acts as a catalyst for the development of adventurous and imaginative ideas by supporting artists who pursue innovation in form and/or content in the performing and visual arts, film and video, and in emerging fields. We are committed to working in partnership with the artists whom we fund, providing advisory services and professional development assistance along with multi-faceted financial aid and promotional support throughout the life of each Creative Capital project.
